Titan LNG announced it has completed its first ship-to-ship (STS) bunkering operation on one of NYK Line’s vessels. The activity was successfully executed on April 8 in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Belgium.
The LNG bunkering vessel, Optimus, operated by Titan, completed the fuel supply on the Jasmine Leader, a pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) owned by the Japanese shipping company NYK.
“This operation corresponds to the first one of a term contract TITAN has with the recognized logistics solutions provider, NYK. We are very proud of this milestone since it represents the beginning of a long relationship with this prominent line,” said Titan through its social media.
“This operation would not have been possible without the close cooperation between all parties. We, therefore, thank everyone involved in this successful operation, including NYK Line and Port of Antwerp-Bruges,” they added.
