Dimsport, specialist in engine optimization, and BeGas, manufacturer of 100% LPG or bio-LPG powered engines approved under Euro VI E regulations, signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of researching, developing and implementing sustainable solutions for mobility, as well as for cargo and passenger transportation.
Both companies agree in their interest in developing a carbon-neutral economy, promoting the use of alternative fuels (including hydrogen or DME, among others) as one of the ways to strengthen the fight against climate change, to improve the quality of air in cities and to help achieve the goals of sustainability and economic development.
Dimsport and BeGas will study what measures can be implemented in order to contribute to the development of the OEM market and engine retrofit (the adaptation of engines to a new, more ecological combustion system), focusing on the three essential elements to achieve it: vehicles, relocated infrastructures and use of alternative fuels. To this end, the companies plan to rely on promotion, training and marketing campaigns that serve to bring these new products closer to potential users.
For the development of these joint projects, Dimsport’s control units will be used exclusively, developed and adapted jointly under BeGas specifications. Therefore, and thanks to this agreement, BeGas becomes Dimsport’s Premium Partner, allowing “it to have access to developments and solutions, even in beta phase, to be able to validate and test them at its facilities.”
“With this new agreement, we want to jointly promote advanced solutions in Spain that represent a real technological advance and help position it as one of the leading countries in sustainability and environmental responsibility at an international level,” said the CEO of Dimsport Spain, Germán Palomas.
