Cooperativa Agropecuaria Unión, YPF and Scania are organizing an event to present the trucks of the Swedish brand that run 100% on natural gas. The exhibition, on June 2, will be held at Teniente Origone Sports Complex, in the town of Justiniano Posse, Córdoba.
This presentation takes place within the framework of the adaptation that is being carried out at the YPF service station in Justiniano Posse, which contemplates the incorporation of exclusive islands for the high-flow supply of CNG for heavy vehicles.
Developed by Cooperativa Unión and YPF, in a joint effort with the Municipality of Justiniano Posse, this work marks a national milestone, since it is one of the first filling stations in the country to be reformed to offer the high-flow refueling for trucks.
This innovation will translate into a significant reduction in refueling time and greater comfort by being able to enter the island with the complete vehicle: CNG trucks that already circulate through the country, in a traditional service station, must detach from the trailer to enter and, in addition, they must wait 45 minutes to refuel the full capacity of the tanks.
It also represents an important novelty at the local and regional level, since in addition to the benefits for truck refueling, it adds a strategically located CNG supply point to a sector with a large circulation of both heavy and light vehicles.
During the event, Scania specialists will present all the particularities of CNG truck technology. These vehicles provide an important advantage for logistics activity with a fuel saving of 40/50%, preserving the characteristics of power and capacity, have a range of 500 km, and reduce engine noise and polluting gases.
The presentation also includes a test drive intended for drivers and carriers to experience what it is like to drive these vehicles.
“Did you know that with CNG trucks you achieve efficiency, capacity and power? From Cooperativa Unión, YPF and Scania Argentina we offer you the exclusive opportunity to live the experience of innovation in transport. Join this event to find out all the details about the new technology in trucks and the work we are carrying out at our Justiniano Posse service station to guarantee the supply of this fuel,” announced Cooperativa Unión on its social networks.
