CNG Fuels has commenced the development of their next bio-CNG filling station in Bangor, North Wales. Expected to be operational in Autumn 2023, the new facility will be located in Parc Bryn Cegin, just off Junction 11, North Wales Expressway, Bangor, ideally suited to all North Wales traffic as well as covering all trucks heading to and from the Holyhead Port.
This new station will open up another critical transport route in the UK for biomethane refueling and will be CNG Fuels’ first Welsh based service station.
It will feature 12 CNG dispensers and will have the capacity to fill over 500 heavy-duty vehicles per day with 100% renewable and sustainable biomethane. “We will keep you updated with progress at the site and provide actual opening dates closer to the time of completion,” said the company through a publication on its social media.
CNG Fuels is also building filling stations in Corby and Newton-Aycliffe, England. “I can confirm that construction is going well and the operational timelines are still on track for summer 2023”, they added.
The next facilities that the company will commence construction of shortly will be located in Aylesford, Doncaster and Livingston.
