The Spanish Group Calvera has been awarded a contract to develop two hydrogen service stations, both for heavy and light vehicles, for the Polish company Biproraf. The new refueling facilities, which will be located in the towns of Poznam and Katowice, will allow Calvera expand its international presence.
These new stations will supply hydrogen at 350 bars for heavy vehicles and at 700 bars for light vehicles (both with 1.6 tons/day of hydrogen capacity). In addition, they will have hydrogen storage of up to 900 bars, together with hydrogen unloading panels, compression systems and dispensers.
Calvera’s order will also include several 300-bar tube-trailers, necessary to transport the hydrogen from the facilities where it is produced to the stations where it will be dispensed. The works are expected to be completed by 2023.
“We are delighted to work with Biproraf, an engineering and construction company with a long tradition, the highest quality and enormous experience,” said Rafael Calvera, Vice President of the Spanish company. “The complementarity of both companies will be the key to the success of the project.”
