Gruppo Brescia Mobilitá presented 30 IVECO Urbanway natural gas buses to the city. Eight additional NGVs will be added shortly and another 23 in January 2024, for a total of 61 new vehicles. The newly arrived buses will enter service very soon and will replace the first models purchased by Brescia Trasporti, to renew the fleet and introduce more modern and efficient vehicles.
Thanks to this latest purchase, the Brescia Transporti bus fleet now has 189 CNG-powered vehicles and the average age falls below eight years, with an average of 7.26.
The company continues to look to the future and plans new investments that will allow the introduction of zero emission energy alternatives, such as hydrogen and electricity, into its fleet.
Two electric paratransit buses will be introduced this year, while the implementation of six EVs and two hydrogen-powered vehicles is planned for 2024.
