IVECO has supplied 40 IVECO S-WAYs to the Torello Group, a transport and logistics company based in Montoro, in southern Italy, including 20 vehicles powered by LNG. The delivery was handled by Mecar, the reference IVECO dealer for the Salerno, Avellino, Potenza and Calabria areas.
The 20 IVECO S-WAY LNG trucks, model AS440S46T/P 2LNG, feature two tanks of 540 liters each and allow a range of up to 1,600 km. The vehicles are equipped with the most advanced fuel saving systems such as predictive GPS, intelligent auxiliary systems and the Smart EGR system. The cab design, optimized from an aerodynamic point of view, allows for a further reduction in fuel consumption of up to 4%.
