HAM Group and Transportes HAM have acquired 50 new Volvo tractor units powered by LNG. The company has received 25 and expects to get the rest during the next year. The Volvo FH model with 460 HP and 500 HP features the latest driving assistance safety elements.

Its fleet complies with all regulations and is continually renewed, with safer and more efficient vehicles, driven by professionals who take annual driving courses that help reduce accidents, high consumption and high emissions. In response to this company policy, HAM Group and Transportes HAM have acquired these 50 Volvo Trucks units, since their performance, innovation and quality are aligned with the values and objectives of the group.

Liquefied natural gas reduces CO2 emissions by 15%, nitrous oxides by 35% and fine particles by 95%; leading to higher air quality.”

These LNG-powered trucks offer the same performance and drivability as their diesel models. They can be used in regional and long-haul heavy transport operations. With the new 225 kg tank and the new 500 HP engine, autonomy is increased by between 10%-14%.
