UTA Edenred, mobility service provider in Europe and a company belonging to Edenred, has doubled its number of natural gas filling stations in Spain and has become the most extensive NGV network in this country. This expansion, included in the company’s objective of strengthening its offer of alternative fuels in Europe, was achieved after collaboration agreements with the companies HAM and Molgas, which make up the UTA NGV network in Spain, together with Repsol, Cepsa and Incoenergy.
With this, UTA Edenred already has 52 LNG stations in Spain. At the European level, it currently has an acceptance network of 420 LNG stations in 11 countries, which means that UTA Edenred customers can access more than 50% of the LNG refueling facilities in Europe.
“The alliance with leading partners such as HAM and Molgas places us at the forefront of the natural gas distribution market in Spain. This year will bring numerous novelties to continue reinforcing the offer of UTA Edenred in our country and in the rest of Europe,” said Alfonso Díaz, General Director of UTA Edenred Spain and Portugal.
Lukas Schneider, Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer at UTA Edenred, commented: “We will continue to expand our fuel offer to cover all the mobility needs of our customers in Europe, with all types of energy, both alternative and traditional. Mobility is immersed in a profound transformation, and our objective, as European leaders, is to accompany, help and support our clients in this energy transition.”
