Powered by the Next-Gen K-series 1.5-liter, Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine, the Grand Vitara S-CNG develops a peak power output of 64.6kW@5500rpm and max torque is rated at 121.5 Nm@4200rpm in CNG mode. Offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the new car delivers an excellent fuel-efficiency of 26.6 km/kg.
The manufacturer supplied three trucks to Israel as part of a partnership between its Israeli agency Colmobil, hydrogen producer Bazan and hydrogen station operator Sonol to develop a hydrogen value chain in the region. The vehicles will be handed over to Colmobil, Bazan and Sonol, and will be put into commercial operations in the first quarter of 2023.

The T7 Methane Power LNG pre-production prototype tractor will more than double the autonomy compared to a CNG design whilst boosting overall farm sustainability. With its 270hp, it delivers the same power and torque as a diesel tractor while delivering autonomy without the need for any extra tanks. It is also more sustainable when powered by bio-LNG.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. will receive funding from the Government for the development of zero-emissions vehicles. In collaboration with highly skilled UK based technical engineering partners, the project’s aim is to adopt second generation Toyota fuel cell components for the transformation of a Hilux into a fuel cell vehicle.

Tiago NRG iCNG is the country’s first natural gas-powered toughroader with a high ground clearance of 177 mm and retuned suspension.
Scania has previously developed fuel cell trucks in research projects and collaborations. However, the Swiss vehicles are Scania’s first to be sold commercially to customers. They will be delivered to Emmi AG, Genossenschaft Migros Zürich, Gysin Tiefbau AG and TRAVECO Transporte AG in 2024 and 2025.
The Toyota Glanza as well as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder model line-up will be available with a CNG variant in the S and G grades. This introduction will further enable the company to enhance its range of sustainable vehicle technology offerings, as well as offer more eco-friendly and economical options for customers to choose from.
