US: NAT G announces dual fuel program to convert Class 7/8 diesel trucks

The company launched an initiative that enables operators of diesel-powered Class 7/8 trucks to reduce their carbon footprint by reducing the consumption of diesel fuel — displacing it (up to 60%) with CNG or biomethane. The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla has opened a conversion mobile center as part of the country’s efforts to expand reliance on clean and cheap energy. The facility, owned by GasTech, includes all CNG components and kits and can convert 20 cars daily. It is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East.
