Argentina: new high-flow CNG station for heavy transport opens in Córdoba

The Municipality of Quilino and Villa Quilino announced the opening of the first high-flow CNG dispenser for buses and trucks in the north of Córdoba. The equipment is located at the Quilino CNG Service Station. To date, the province of Córdoba had this type of service in places such as Balnearia and Morteros, and from now on, Quilino joins this list.

Rolande puts into operation its seventh LNG station in Germany

It features two LNG pumps and is located on the Autobahn 2, in Ziesar near Berlin, a strategically important transport corridor for east-west and north-south goods traffic, covering the North Sea and Baltic Sea regions. Peru: first CNG bus financed through Camisea Consortium was delivered in Pisco

The first natural gas-powered bus for the Ica region was presented in Pisco by Contugas and the Camisea Consortium (operated by Pluspetrol), as part of the incentive program for the acquisition of new vehicles for cargo and passenger transportation companies. Argentina: Córdoba authorities visit IVECO plant to see first-hand new CNG bus

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mining of the province of Córdoba, Eduardo Accastello, visited the Iveco plant in the city of Córdoba, where the new Euro 6 natural gas urban and interurban bus is being produced. With the six-cylinder option, the vehicle offers a range of 250 km, while with the nine-cylinder version it reaches 300 km.

DHL will deploy biomethane-fueled trucks in its Irish network in alliance with Tesco

DHL Supply Chain announced plans to begin operating bio-CNG trucks with an investment worth EUR 80 million into a dedicated biomethane production plant in Cork. The new facility will provide fuel for up to 150 trucks, resulting in an annual carbon reduction of 15,000 tons. DHL plans to run 92 locally fueled trucks across Tesco’s country-wide network.

Spain: Sedigas unveils new campaign to spread CNG benefits for clean mobility

Scania and Flix launch long-term alliance to speed up use of bio-LNG in bus fleets

Naturgy presents Spain’s first bio-LNG project to decarbonize transportation

Naturgy has already signed the first long-term purchase contract for liquid biomethane. The agreement will entail the purchase of an annual production of 25 GWh of bio-LNG obtained at the Sologas waste recovery plant in As Somozas (La Coruña), whose entry into operation is scheduled for the end of 2023.

Argentina’s first CNG filling station for buses opens in Mendoza

Ecogas and Andesmar have joined forces to launch the first CNG station for buses in Argentina. With an approximate investment of 300 million pesos made entirely by the companies and in a record time of 10 months, the refueling facility is located in the department of Guaymallén. It will be used by the Mendoza Transportation Society (STM) NGV fleet.

Since 2012, UNICON, a company dedicated to the production of ready-mix concrete, responsible mining and other construction services, began the transition to CNG. Recently, it has decided to expand its fleet of green mixing vehicles with the purchase of new NGVs, increasing its total fleet to more than 150 units that run on clean energy.
