The new series of back of cab (BOC) natural gas fuel systems, available in 135 and 175 diesel gallon equivalent capacities, is now in production. With an enhanced design and paired with a Cummins X15N™ engine, the new systems receive the same base warranty coverage as the engine: two years/250,000 miles.
As an expansion of the scope of the Natural Gas Vehicle Institute, AFVi will offer training courses to drivers, vehicle technicians, and fueling station personnel involved with light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleets that operate not only natural gas, but also hydrogen, LPG, and EVs. “Many fleets are embracing other fuels in an effort to diversify,” said NGVi’s vice president.
The company will supply its Mobile Pipeline® X-STORE® modules to Manaseer Oil and Gas, a business of the Manaseer Group and the owner/operator of a chain of fuel stations in Jordan. The X-STORE modules will transport CNG to industrial customers lacking pipeline access, who want to lower their carbon footprint.
The companies signed a strategic collaboration agreement including liquid hydrogen storage tanks, transport trailers, and the development of new mobile and modular hydrogen refueling stations for quick deployment. This agreement includes additional collaboration on the advancement of hydrogen technology for infrastructure and truck on-board fuel systems.
The tractor is currently still in Customs, complying with the rigorous procedures. Upon arrival at Las Chilcas (Córdoba), it will be subjected to exhaustive performance tests with the biomethane produced in the farm. Las Chilcas hopes to obtain a positive balance in reducing emissions and improving the impact of agricultural production on the environment.

The 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, located in Maryland, will support the annual production of up to 10,000 cylinders for heavy-duty vehicle applications and will employ up to 150 skilled workers. It expands production capacity and allows for further expansion by adding additional production equipment as demand for hydrogen cylinders continues to grow.
The company has received new orders from Permian Global, Inc. d/b/a CORE Automated Fueling Solutions and CORE Natural Gas (CORE) and from RenewGas Transportation to supply its Mobile Pipeline® TITAN modules to transport and deliver CNG and renewable CNG, helping displace use of diesel with natural gas.
