IVECO has delivered 10 IVECO S-Way LNG trucks to Tservice SPA through Socom Nuova, its dealer in Naples. The delivery ceremony took place at the Nola interport at the logistics company’s facilities. The IVECO S-Way LNG will run on biomethane for a reduction of emissions of up to 121% and will be used for connections between the hubs located on national and international territory.
The 10 IVECO S-Way LNG vehicles, model AS440S46T/P LNG, are equipped with two LNG tanks and the Living Comfort Plus packages, with two beds, independent cab heater, extractable refrigerator, additional lights, Premium Style, Full LED, Aero PLUS, alloy wheels and ADR system.
Tservice drivers will have the opportunity to take part in the specific IVECO ECOSMART training course on the vehicles purchased, which will make an important contribution to improving fuel consumption. The course will be dedicated to in-depth study of all the functions of the truck to guarantee each driver the best way to drive the IVECO S-Way LNG.
“Tservice is committed to achieving objective 13 of the 2030 Agenda ‘Climate Action’, which has a fundamental cornerstone in the renewal of the vehicle fleet. For years, IVECO has been offering the heavy transport market vehicles that allow the tare to be reduced by increasing the payload, with considerable advantages in terms of reduced emissions. It was therefore natural for us to choose them to make an even more decisive turn towards sustainability. We bought IVECO trucks also thanks to the professional support received from the Socom Nuova dealer with whom we have had a close working relationship for many years,” said Giuseppe Terracciano, Tservice Sole Director.
Since 2008 Tservice has been providing freight transport services and carries out complementary activities, including consultancy services. The company understands transport as an integration between different activities in a single operator, covering all phases relating to transport and exercising direct control over the logistics chain.
