Volvo and Westport join forces on HPDI technology for long-haul transport
The companies have signed a non-binding letter of intent to establish a joint venture to accelerate the commercialization and global adoption of Westport’s HPDI™ fuel system technology for long-haul and off-road applications. Volvo believes that the future will demand diverse propulsion solutions, including internal combustion engines, to meet customers’ needs.
