SIAD Macchine Impianti (SIAD MI) was selected to build a small scale LNG (SSLNG) plant for the production of biomethane near Röthenbach an der Pegnitz, in the Bavarian region of Germany. The client is bioplus LNG, a German company founded by VGT. The new plant, expected to be commissioned in October 2024, will produce 140 tons of bio-LNG per day.

U.S. EPA celebrates new $400 million Clean School Bus opportunity

Funding comes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Clean School Bus Program. The $400 million grant opportunity will fund CNG, LPG, and electric buses that will produce either zero or low tailpipe emissions compared to their older diesel predecessors. These emission reductions will result in cleaner air for students, drivers, and the community.
