SEA-LNG has shared its overview of LNG as a marine fuel in 2022-2023. This resource highlights how the shipping industry has advanced along the LNG pathway to decarbonization in 2022 and outlines what progress is anticipated in 2023. LNG is the only scalable fuel available today for deep-sea shipping that addresses both climate and health challenges.
The company has received new orders from Permian Global, Inc. d/b/a CORE Automated Fueling Solutions and CORE Natural Gas (CORE) and from RenewGas Transportation to supply its Mobile Pipeline® TITAN modules to transport and deliver CNG and renewable CNG, helping displace use of diesel with natural gas.
RWE, Germany’s second largest energy company, has chosen the Spanish multinational to set up and operate a new regasification terminal in Brünsbuttel. This unit will have the capacity to store up to 170,000 cubic meters of LNG on board and to deliver 5 bcm (billions of cubic meters) of natural gas to the grid annually.
