Five new governorates -Ismailia, Sharqeya, Beheira, Beni Suef and Sohag- have been included in the presidential initiative, allowing them to receive financing to own new economically and environmentally friendly cars through large credit facilities in line with the UN’s sustainable development goals (SDGs) and Egypt’s 2030 Vision.
Attero, Nordsol, and Titan have joined forces to achieve a decentralized production of bio-LNG for use in the maritime industry. The bio-LNG production plant will be located at the facility of waste processor Attero in the Netherlands. The FirstBio2Shipping project is set to deliver the first bio-LNG early 2024.
Scania has previously developed fuel cell trucks in research projects and collaborations. However, the Swiss vehicles are Scania’s first to be sold commercially to customers. They will be delivered to Emmi AG, Genossenschaft Migros Zürich, Gysin Tiefbau AG and TRAVECO Transporte AG in 2024 and 2025.
