Madrid abandons diesel garbage trucks, will add only CNG and ZERO vehicles
The machinery and vehicles used by the concessionaires to provide the service must be powered by CNG (ECO) engines or by ZERO emission engines, according to the classification of the Spanish General Directorate of Traffic (DGT). In no case will collection or waste transport trucks that are totally propelled by diesel, biodiesel or ethanol engines be admitted.
