The company presented its investment plan, product development, nationalization plan and export program with a direct impact on its Córdoba plant, which will include the production of the first CNG bus in Argentina to be carried out in this plant. As of September the vehicle will be available to the Province “to begin dynamic testing in the public passenger transport network.”
NCT has taken delivery of its first new biomethane double deck buses from its latest £7 million investment in 23 brand new units, which are expected to be in service by the end of August. The engines and chassis of the sleek Enviro400CBG City buses have been developed by Scania and are bodied in Britain by Alexander Dennis Limited.
The SEAT Leon car driven by Guido Guerrini and Fabio Cofferati and with the support of Piccini Paolo Spa, Snam4Mobility, WGMC and NGV Italy, managed to cover 93% of the journey using only clean energy. Of the 4,620 kilometers traveled from Tuscany to the North Cape, 4,267 were made using biomethane; while only 353 kilometers, the last before arrival, with traditional fuels.
The initiative is comprised of three farms located in Minnehaha: Boadwine Farms, Pioneer Dairy, and Mooody Dairy, and is part of the previously announced partnership to own project companies across the United States to produce and market dairy biomethane. This renewable natural gas is a valuable transportation fuel with lower lifecycle carbon intensity.
