The G410 A6x2 model was the option chosen, and it will be used to carry the fuels from refineries to Shell service stations. For the approval that made it possible to complete this type of operation, an authorization process was developed in conjunction with Raízen, resulting in this Scania truck being the first CNG vehicle authorized to transport Shell fuels.
The new facility is located in the north of the country and is part of the Green Corridor that will serve heavy-duty vehicles. The opening was attended by the Minister of Energy Óscar Vera. This station and the one in Chiclayo will be integrated into the Green Corridor, together with the one installed by Cálidda in Lima, to ensure the supply on the Peruvian coast.
One of the cooperation deals aims at expanding the lineup of domestically produced NGVs and was signed by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee; Denis Manturov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade; Anton Alikhanov, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region; and Valery Gorbunov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AVTOTOR.
Both companies have among their main lines of action the promotion of net zero emission technologies to contribute to the decarbonisation of society. That shared ambition led both companies to sign a collaboration agreement to promote the use of renewable hydrogen to decarbonize transportation for the next few years.
Both companies signed a long-term agreement for the supply of LNG to the new MSC Euribia, as well as a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the goal of cooperating on the supply of synthetic e-LNG made with renewable energy. This is part of MSC Cruise Division’s strategy to achieve net zero GHG emissions from its marine operations by 2050.
Since 2021, the company has expanded from the Community of Madrid to six other regions throughout the entire Peninsula: Castilla y León, the Valencian Community, La Rioja, the Basque Country, Castilla La Mancha and Extremadura. Noriega Grupo Logístico has added 78 LNG trucks to its fleet and has closed a supply agreement with Aliara Energía.
With this opening, under the CNG Fuels brand, ReFuels expands its UK-wide network of public-access stations to include major trucking routes in Northeast England, providing customers such as Lidl, DHL, and GBA Services access to low carbon biomethane to minimize the GHG footprint of their logistics operations.
National Fuel announced the launch of an alternative fuel vehicle pilot program that uses an adsorbed natural gas (ANG) platform developed by Ingevity, called NeuFuel. National Fuel’s decision to purchase and pilot NeuFuel vehicles is consistent with its overall focus on environmental stewardship and innovations relating to natural gas.
The Ministry of Petroleum announced the conversion of about 17,000 vehicles from gasoline to bi-fuel operation from July to October. For this, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed two contracts at EGP 200 million with Egyptian International Gas Technology (GASTEC) and CARGAS.
The fund, which will be opened to other institutional investors and private banking clients, aims to raise up to 100 million euros, in a first phase, for the construction and development of between 20 and 25 plants in Spain over a five-year period. In turn, this will generate a total of 70 permanent jobs and 240 indirect jobs.
