The Commonwealth of Pamplona (MCP) announced that the Regional Urban Transport added six new hybrid buses with CNG-electric engine, which will use gas with a Guarantee of Renewable Origin (GdO). The buses are MAN Lion’s City 19G Efficient Hybrid model, with 18 meters long and capacity for 180 passengers (35 seated).
The new LNG station is located in Växjö, in south central Sweden. It is the company’s 22nd natural gas station in this country, bringing the total number across the Nordics to over 50, some of which are operated by Gasum’s partners. Alwex Transport, a carrier with an ambitious goal of contributing to a cleaner environment, has been instrumental in this opening.

With the opening of Air Liquide’s high-pressure hydrogen station in Fos-sur-Mer (Marseille) and Iveco Group’s readiness to deliver hydrogen trucks starting from late 2023, the two companies are paving the way for hydrogen long-haulage mobility in Europe. The large-capacity high-pressure station (1 ton/day) is supplied with low-carbon hydrogen via pipeline.
NGVAmerica announced that over $233.76 million has been awarded by the Biden administration to natural gas transit projects across the US. Another $44.37 million went to transit agencies where at least a portion will be spent on CNG buses and infrastructure. This is part of a larger announcement made by the FTA’s Low- and No-Emission Grant Award program.
The new facility is the company’s 52th natural gas station in the Czech Republic.
