Gasum has opened it newest natural gas station in Keminmaa, Finland. Located in the new Rajakangas industrial park that’s under construction, this is also the first NGV station in Finnish Lapland and Gasum’s second northernmost filling station. In addition to LNG, it offers renewable CNG.
IVECO Bus announced in 2022 the production of the 17-210G chassis at its factory in Córdoba. It is the first CNG bus manufactured in Argentina. Gasum is building a filling station offering renewable CNG and LNG in Södertälje. Westport Fuel Systems completed a heavy transport demonstration with its H2 HPDI fuel system equipped prototype truck hauling a refrigerated trailer in Madrid. The trial, which also included Disfrimur, Scale Gas and Versallis, marks the first of its kind in Spain and an important step forward in the decarbonization of Spanish mobility.
According to Vanti, installations of natural gas equipment increased by 268%, especially in the last four months of 2023. The departments where conversions have grown the most are Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Santander and Cesar. So far this year, a total of 6,273 installations have been carried out compared to the 3,598 performed in 2022.
