“On the road to net-zero emissions”: IVECO and Shell launch European bio-LNG tour

The tour will start at the Mittenwalde Shell station in Berlin and will stop at five landmarks of the bio-LNG ecosystem on the route that will touch Germany, the Netherlands and Italy. The Iveco S-Way’s goal is to complete the tour achieving net-zero emissions while delivering an efficient performance.

Flogas Enterprise and Circle K join forces to bring bio-CNG to Ireland

Flogas Enterprise signed a contract with Circle K to supply biomethane at its fueling stations across the country. Bio-CNG is currently available in Ballysimon Road, Limerick, Cashel Co. Tipperary, Clonshaugh and Dublin Port. The move is another step forward in reducing emissions from Ireland’s transport industry.

Brightmark and Chevron achieve first biomethane for vehicles milestone in Florida

Chile: Minister of Transport announces change in the regulations for the use of CNG

The Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Juan Carlos Muñoz Abogabír announced a new decree that modifies the current regulations and allows vehicles that can be converted to CNG to be extended up to 15 years old in Chile. The ministry carried out a pilot plan and observed that these adapted vehicles generated much less emissions.

Argentina: Neuquén bets on the environment and adds new natural gas buses

The Mayor of the city of Neuquén Mariano Gaido, together with the Governor Omar Gutiérrez, presented two new buses that join “COLE”, the city’s public transport system. These are two CNG-powered vehicles, from IVECO and Scania, which will complement the 180 units already circulating in the city.

Hyzon, PFG and Chart launch first commercial demo of liquid hydrogen fuel cell truck

Starting in Temple, TX, the vehicle completed deliveries to eight PFG customers near Dallas, travelling over 540 miles on a 16-hour continuous run including over 100-degree Fahrenheit temperatures. The run demonstrates the viability of on-board liquid hydrogen to fuel long-distance, zero-emission transport.
