Air Products has been selected by Edmonton International Airport as the hydrogen and technology provider for Alberta’s first hydrogen fuel cell passenger vehicle fleet. The company will install a mobile refueler at the airport to supply hydrogen to the Toyota Mirai fleet. The airport will begin with five H2 vehicles and plans to expand the fleet to as many as 100 cars.
The new Scania X-gas is a G 410 8×2 model, with a rigid chassis. Its engine has 410 horsepower and develops a torque of 2,000Nm. The wheelbase is 6,950 mm, which makes it possible to accommodate 16 CNG tanks on the sides of the spar, eight on each side. It has eight cylinders with a capacity of 118 liters and another eight of 95 liters.

The Spanish Confederation of Service Station Employers (CEEES) and the Spanish Gas Association (Sedigas) will cooperate with the aim of carrying out promotional and awareness actions related to the decarbonization of mobility through the use of renewable gases. The first result of this alliance is the adhesion of the CEEES to the Alliance for Biomethane.
The change was made possible through an agreement signed by Pensacola Energy to purchase biomethane for use in the city’s vehicles that previously used CNG. The city has 87 natural gas powered vehicles in its fleet, including garbage trucks, recycling trucks, and Pensacola Energy crew service vehicles.
Cummins Darlington Engine Plant has celebrated the production of its first L9N engine, the first natural gas engine manufactured at the UK plant in its 58-year history. In Chile, Andes Motor joined as a new strategic partner of IVECO in 2022. Through them, 15 S-Way LNG trucks were delivered to Grupo San Gabriel, a carrier that has the largest IVECO LNG fleet in Latin America. These vehicles, which will transport Nestlé products, joined the 35 LNG-powered Stralis that the company has owned since 2022.
