Liberty Coca-Cola, one of the country’s largest bottlers and distributors of Coke and other brands and serving the Northeast U.S., has signed a fueling contract with Clean Energy to power trucks in New York and Philadelphia with renewable natural gas. These are its first trucks to operate on biomethane.
This new generation of buses features the new K-series chassis and is available in various configurations, for urban routes as well as for medium and long distances. It offers the possibility of using alternative fuels -such as CNG and biomethane-, which amplifies energy efficiency and profitability. It also achieves 92% technological innovation of its components.
The Supro CNG Duo is the company’s first bi-fuel model in the small commercial vehicle segment. It can run on both CNG and petrol, giving operators class leading fuel economy. It also offers a range of 325km with a large CNG tank capacity of 75 liters and freedom from range anxiety resulting in more business opportunities and greater earnings.
These vehicles, which can accommodate 5 passengers including one in a wheelchair, or 6 passengers without a wheelchair, have been specially adapted from the passenger versions of the Peugeot e-Expert and Citroën ë-Jumpy vehicles, manufactured at Stellantis’ Hordain site, in the Hauts-de-France region of France.

NGVAmerica and the RNG Coalition, with partners California Natural Gas Vehicle Partnership and California Renewable Transportation Alliance, announced that California fleets fueled with biomethane achieved carbon-negativity in their transportation operations last calendar year for the third straight year.
Long-time customer and an early adopter of renewable natural gas, the Big Blue Bus in Santa Monica, CA has signed a maintenance agreement for its fleet of 195 transit buses that fuels with an anticipated 7.5 million gallons of biomethane. In 2015, Big Blue Bus became one of the country’s first municipal transit agencies to convert its entire fleet to this renewable fuel.
The facility, which is co-financed by the European Commission through the CEF Program, involved an investment of 16 million euros and adds to the set of actions carried out or currently underway at the port facility. It has a cryogenic tank with a storage capacity of 1,000 cubic meters and joins the terminal that Repsol has in the port of Bilbao.
From June 7 to 10, the brand is participating in Agroactiva, in the province of Santa Fe, one of the most important rural fairs in the country. It will be part of this expo through the Beta dealer, which will exhibit the wide range of nationally produced vehicles such as the CNG Tector. This agreement will allow APG to market their next generation of low carbon V6000 Dual Fuel diesel engine conversion solutions for existing heavy-duty Class 8 trucks through Nat G network. Nat G is a provider of alternative fuel systems serving public and private fleet operators with a wide range of vehicle sizes, which covers Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana.
