Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Hardeep Singh Puri dedicated 166 CNG filling stations to service of the community. He emphasized that rollout of CNG on such a scale is expected to incentivize market for NGVs and will have exponential impact in terms of manufacturing, skill development and employment generation.

The Hegelmann Group has placed an order for 150 IVECO S-WAY LNG and 10 IVECO S-WAY CNG tractor units. Using Biomethane not only allows the company to significantly reduce its nitrogen dioxide and soot emissions, but also its CO2 emissions by up to 95% compared with a diesel truck – and can even achieve a negative carbon footprint when the biomethane is generated from animal waste.
The opening of this public-access facility was made possible thanks to support from the EU’s H2Benelux program. Besides industrial and logistics applications, hydrogen also has a role to play in the decarbonization of transport and mobility. H2Benelux is coordinated by WaterstofNet and part of the Connecting Europe Facility program (executed by CINEA).

AWM has been operating 10 Scania CNG refuse collection vehicles with Allison 3000 Series™ transmissions for several years as part of a sustainable fleet renewal program. An additional 34 vehicles will be added to the fleet by autumn 2022. Half of the 34 new vehicles will be Scania R 280 B 6×2*4 NB//CNG with CR20L long-distance cab and the other half are Scania L 280 B6x2*4 NB// CNG with low-floor cab, CityDoor.
The first nationwide Hydrogen Valley ever is now being developed in close cooperation between three regions, one university and five of the largest companies in energy and industry in Estonia. The hydrogen produced in the country will be used for fueling public transport, heavy duty vehicles, rail, shipping, aviation, and other transport modalities.
A new agreement with Chautauqua Green Energy and CGE Ventures will convert gas from the Chautauqua County landfill, in New York, to 100% biomethane and be sold across Trillium’s network of CNG stations. They will produce more than 5,000,000 DGE (diesel gallon equivalent) of biomethane a year, providing a new source of low-carbon fuel to customers both in the northeast and across the country.
