The contract includes 200 buses of 10.4 meters with a capacity for 70 passengers, and 200 buses of 12 meters with a capacity for 90 passengers. All FOTON AUV buses will be equipped with a Cummins Euro V natural gas engine. The delivery must be in batches of 100 units in October and November 2022, and in January and February 2023.
Transportes Sul do Tejo acquired 17 new IVECO Crossway buses powered by natural gas, which are supplied daily at the Dourogás CNG Post in Palmela. The use of these vehicles replacing others powered by conventional fuels will prevent the emission of some 2,500 tons of CO2.
The Puno Regional Government is committed to the widespread use of natural gas for vehicle use and will promote the installation of CNG refueling stations in the cities of Puno and Juliaca. To achieve the region’s access to natural gas, a framework agreement will be signed with the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
AUVASA’s new fleet, which involved an investment of around 6.6 million euros, includes seven 12-meter rigid buses and eight 18-meter articulated buses. All of them were manufactured by Solaris, are powered by natural gas and have a 320 CV engine subject to Euro E emission regulations.

Moove, the world’s first mobility fintech and Uber’s largest vehicle supply partner in EMEA, announced its launch in India as a part of its global expansion. In what is envisaged to be one of Uber’s mega fleet partnerships in India, Moove will launch 5,000 CNG and electric vehicles within the first year; with plans to scale to 30,000 over five years.
A 200MW electrolyzer will be constructed on the Tweede Maasvlakte in the port of Rotterdam and will produce up to 60,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen per day. As heavy-duty trucks are coming to market and refueling networks grow, renewable hydrogen supply can also be directed toward these to help in decarbonizing commercial road transport.
Recently, a bunkering operation was carried out on the Baleària’s ship Nápoles, which covers services between Almería and the ports of Melilla and Nador. Bunkering was carried out with a tanker truck from ESK (company specialized in the transport and supply of LNG) in approximately 60 minutes, and in compliance with strict security measures.
The European Tour featuring a CNG SEAT Leon powered entirely by biomethane and driven by traveler and journalist Guido Guerrini kicked off in Italy and is expected to reach the Arctic Circle. The project is supported by Associazione Culturale Torino-Pechino, Piccini Paolo Spa, Snam4Mobility, Lombardy Region, World Gas Mobility Council (WGMC), NGV Italy, Italian Biogas Consortium, Assogasmetano and Eco Futuro Festival.
Kore Infrastructure has successfully begun testing and demonstrating its carbon-negative, waste-to-energy modular system at SoCalGas’ Los Angeles facility. The technology is designed to divert organic waste from California landfills and convert it into carbon-negative hydrogen and renewable natural gas.
