Together with its collaborator HAM and hand in hand with Scania, HAVI is encouraging the use and consumption of biomethane in its delivery trucks. HAVI shares this path towards decarbonization with its main clients, such as McDonald’s, with which it maintains a firm commitment to environmental sustainability.
The new collaboration with involves the conversion of 200 new Ford F-250 service pickup trucks to run on biomethane. The vehicles will be outfitted with the latest Landi Renzo Eco Ready™ equipment. Last year, SoCalGas had already partnered with Landi Renzo USA to convert 200 service trucks to be added to the fleet.

The IVECO Crossway, acquired by the operator HIFE, will be supplied at the Biometagas La Galera plant, in Montsià, and will serve the express.cat line e3 and the regular line L1011.
The shipping group has used its experience as an LNG bunker vessel owner and operator to develop a new innovative LBV design that is easy-to-use, fulfils present and known future requirements for at-sea LNG bunker deliveries and reduces last-mile costs. This unique LBV fits with all known and soon-to-come LNG-powered vessels.
The NGV Savings Program, which is financed with resources from the Energy Social Inclusion Fund (FISE), will have a larger budget that will allow it to pay for conversions until the end of the year. This program has already financed CNG conversions in 53,207 light vehicles. Of that total, 37,812 units (more than 70%) benefited in 2022.
ZIM signed a marine LNG sales and purchase agreement with Shell NA LNG, LLC to supply 10 LNG-fueled vessels that will be deployed on ZIM’s flagship ZIM Container Service Pacific (ZCP). These 15,000 TEU vessels are expected to enter into service during 2023-2024 and will be transporting goods from China and South Korea to US East Coast and the Caribbean.
